Jelly Bean update available to owners of the HTC One S

HTC gave a very nice Christmas present to European owners of the popular One S smartphone. It’s an extensive update, of nearly 600 MB in size, and it updates the Android operating system.

The One S is now equipped with version 4.1 of Google’s operating system, named Jelly Bean, as well as the latest version of the HTC Sense custom user interface. Among others, this update includes all the other software integrated in the One S.

The update also introduces the Google Now feature to One S owners, with which they can use voice search, new notifications, as well as Project Butler, that gives users access to hardware, as well as several OS tweaks. If you still have not received it, just enable WiFi and disable cellular data.
