HTC Butterfly was released in Russia and is soon expected in Europe

A couple of weeks after the HTC Butterfly was released in Australia, it’s also coming to European countries, after making a stop in Russia, first. Russians will be the first to enjoy the features of the first 5-inch Android smartphone with a Full HD screen, ever presented.

Its cost in Russia is a bit high, fot 692 euros. However, smartphones are generally a little more expensive in Russia, and it’s possible to cost less money when it comes to Europe. We hope this will be true for Greece as well, though we doubt it.

With this amount of money you get a 5-inch Super LCD 3 screen, with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and Gorilla Glass 2 protection, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC (APQ8064) clocked at 1.5 GHz (quad-core Krait CPU and Adreno 320 GPU), 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, expandable via microSD cards.

There is also an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel camera on the front for videocalls, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS (A-GPS, Glonass), NFC, and more.
