Maggie Simpson in “The Longest Daycare” headed for an Academy award

The Longest Daycare is a solo effort by the youngest member of the Simpson family to win an Academy award in short animation.

This 3D film was shown in America for the first time, right before Ice Age Continental Drift, in July 2012. It got such a good reputation since then, that it was actually nominated for an Academy award.

The story has Maggie arriving at a daycare facility, where she will have a wonderful adventure, with the facility’s baby bully and a butterfly.

David Silverman directed this four-minute film with no dialogue, who has a lot of experience from many Simpsons episodes.

Matt Groening is the producer, of course, who created this popular series. Enjoy a wonderful rhythm and awesome humor.
