Microsoft VS Google: Gmail is not trustable

The famous campaign «Scroogled», in which Microsoft takes on Google, is back ...

"Do you think that Google respects your privacy? Think again", says Microsoft, explaining how it provides «priority to privacy" through while Google «reads your personal messages" to sell ads.

This is not the first time that Microsoft «attacks" Google. Last year it had placed full-page ads in major U.S. newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times criticizing privacy issues and the «Gmail man» campaign had enough publicity via Youtube and Facebook.

Microsoft has noted that 70% of users do not know that the email providers «read» their emails to sell ads, and 88% of people deplores this practice. Of course Microsoft clarifies that they do not adjust ads to, based on the subjects of emails.
