HTC One is Official: 4,7 inch screen with 1080p analysis and "Ultrapixel'' camera

The leaks end here and the HTC One is now a reality! On two parallel events in London and New York, the new top device of the Taiwanese company has finally (!) Officially premiered.

The HTC One has a LCD 4,7 inch Gorilla Glass 2 screen, with 1080p resolution and an impressive pixel density of 468ppi. The processor is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 that runs at 1.7GHz, and 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage and 64GB (perhaps later version to come out... it is worth mentioning that there is no slot for micro SD cards ) are aso available.

HTC gives considerable emphasis on the device's camera, which features a specially designed image sensor, which uses enlarged pixels (the ultrapixels, as called by the company) that meet their performance in low light conditions, however, limit the analysis of photos taken with the HTC One on 4MPixels. Of course, the company is quick to clarify that it is ultimately not the number of MPixels that makes the difference, but the ultrapixels technology that is used. We expect to see the effect in practice to tell you more.

The company aims to be highly competitive with the system that Nokia's Lumia 920 uses, so the new proposal incorporates HTC's optical image stabilizer (OIS). The gyroscopic multi-axle stabilizer is available for both cameras (front and rear), with the front having the wide angle which we first saw on the HTC Windows Phone 8X. HDR video functioning is also available, along with a suite of photo editing, and the new option of HTC Zoe - which captures five frames before pressing the shutter and another 15 after the press giving you a total of 20 to create an "amateur» animation of 20 seconds. If that does not satisfy you. you can even record a 3-seconds clip along with the image.

The new HTC One gives, however, also offers great audio technology. As the company described it, HTC One offers "the best audio experience in any mobile phone." The audio experience is called «HTC BoomSound», the device has two stereo speakers and support Beats Audio, and recording HDR capability with dual-microphone.

For the first time, the new version of Sense 5 (over Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2) in a more simplified visuals is available on an HTC device, and the new functionality, BlinkFeed (one aggregator for new-style Flipboard). Obviously, a cell placed on top of the market could only support LTE. Moreover, the device's battery reaches 2300mAh, while it supports GPS and GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.

It is worth noting that the pocket / lock button on top of the device functions as an infrared transmitter, allowing you to use your HTC One as a remote control for your TV. This is done in cooperation with the application HTC Sense TV, though you should know that this feature is not supported worldwide.

HTC One will be available in white and black color from late March and, as the company says, it is cooperating with 185 networks in 80 countries for its release. The price is expected to be nearly EUR 699.
