Google Nexus 5. LG prepares “Megalodon” and will definitely shake things up

Just a few days after the announcement of Samsung Galaxy S4, some rumours have come up in the internets regarding Google Nexus 5 and this is by no chance. According a source coming from Google, the new Nexus 5 keeps the design form principles that made Nexus so popular, but it will sport some upgraded specs. So upgraded that will definitely rock the world of smartphone users.

The device is well ahead in the research and development phase, it will once again be made by LG and for now, it bears the code name “Megalodon”, a kind of prehistoric mega shark.

The design of Google Nexus 5 will be more futuristic, with strict lines and the well known arch on the top and bottom we have loved in the previous Nexus, while there will be a blue touch button at the bottom.

It’s specs are jaw dropping:

  • 5.2 inch OLED screen 1920x1080 pixels
  • CPU will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core SoC, clocked at 2.30GHz
  • Qualcmm RF360 soft-modem supporting LTE100/50 Mbps Hexaband and HSPA+
  • Up to 64GB ROM
  • 16 Megapixels main camera made by OmniVision, capturing 4K UHD video at 30fps and 1080p video at 60fps
  • 2.1 Μegapixel front camera
  • Android 4.2.2 with gesture control
  • 3.300mAh battery

We can’t tell for sure if the above mentioned specs are valid since none of the two companies implicated in the device have confirmed anything. But.

If a phone like this comes out this fall, everything else in the market will vow before it.
