LG controls the Samsung Galaxy S4 for patent infringements

Just before the Samsung Galaxy S4 announcement on March 14 at Samsung's Unpacked event in New York, there was a rumor that the device will feature "eye scroll" function, which means that the phone would be able to "read" eye movements allowing the user to browse through pages.

During the presentation of the device, Samsung tried not to mention the word "eye" claiming that the device does not "read" the user's eye but their face. It seems that LG has some copyrights regarding some optimizations of the UI and "eye-tracking". LG owns these copyright since 2005. The company is currently controlling the Galaxy S4 to see if there is any patent infrigments. Samsung of course claims that none of LG's patents have been infringed.
