Pain and Gain: Extortion, kidnapping and body building

No, Michael Bay was never our favorite director but... well after this movie, a lot of things can change. "Pain and Gain" - note that it is based on a true story- follows a group of bodybuilders who engaged in a campaign of kidnapping, extortion and murder in Florida and manages to be a well shot movie after all according to rumors. The whole project cost almost $25 million (not a huge budget in comparison with other blockbuster movies by Michael Bay) and along with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, we also have a chance to watch special characters such as Ed Harris and Tony Shalhoub as co-stars.

It seems that Michael Bay decided to have a "movie" break between the tech mayhem of Transformers and before shooting the 4th movie of the multi-million dollar franchise he decided to blow some steam taking his chance on... steroids and crime.

First told in an article from the "Miami New Times" in 1999 the movie is expected to hit the US movie theaters this month and judging by its trailer, it looks quite promising.
