Yahoo Mail adds Dropbox attachment support

Yahoo just announced a new partnership with Dropbox, which leads to deeper integration of the cloud service, offering the ability to attach dropbox files to all outbound email. Yahoo stated that this integration should be seen as another way to make the email experience even simpler, and according to David McDowell: "The way we see it, you should be able to go into your inbox, do what you need to do and move on with your day".

In tech terms, this Dropbox integration will bring benefits to users of both services, since now that files are stored in the cloud, Yahoo's really low 25MB attachment limit will no longer apply. In addition all Dropbox users can now choose to save email attachments directly to the cloud, without any need for local storage. If you use Yahoo Mail and are clapping your feet with joy, be informed that the aforementioned Dropbox support is available now for the web version of Yahoo Mail in English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.
