Rumor: LG Optimus G2 will be so thin that its buttons will be placed on the back!

If you own an LG Optimus G and would like to know more info on its successor, then you're in the right place today. According to South Korean media, LG Optimus G2 is expected to be so thin that the company has decided to put the power button and volume rocker on the back of the phone, and not on the two sides!

Unfortunately, this rumor is not supported by leaked images this time, so we are only sceptical on the matter, since it is going to alter completely the design of the Korean flagship for 2014.

The last time we saw something -short of- similar, was when Motorola unveiled Backflip smartphone, that featured a touchpad on its back, with little success though in the market. The same rumors insist that Optimus G2 will be unveiled in the third quarter of 2013, so in a couple of weeks we should start seeing leaked photos of it, don't you worry about it.

Same rumors insist that the device will feature a 1080×1920 pixel resolution display with on-screen buttons, along with a 13-megapixels rear camera and a 2.1-megapixels front camera. It will use a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (2.3GHz) with Adreno 330 GPU and LG UI. It will use Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS of course.
