Michael Bay: I'm sorry about "Armageddon"

It looks like that Michael Bay, the beloved director of best and worst movies ever, just said the truth about all that we had in our minds. No he didn't talk about the Transformers trilogy, but for -oh yes- "Armageddon". In a recent interview with the Miami Herald, the director opened up about the one movie he regrets making.

“I will apologize for Armageddon, because we had to do the whole movie in 16 weeks. It was a massive undertaking. That was not fair to the movie. I would redo the entire third act if I could. But the studio literally took the movie away from us. It was terrible. My visual effects supervisor had a nervous breakdown, so I had to be in charge of that. I called James Cameron and asked ‘What do you do when you’re doing all the effects yourself?’ But the movie did fine."

In any case, the movie went great, even though Michael Bay doesn't seem to remember. It had almost $554 dollars in profit with a budget of $140 million!
