Meet Liquid E2, a quad-core smartphone by Acer


Acer announced yesterday its flagship smartphone for 2013, code named Liquid E2. The Android device is aimed at the European market and offers high end features such as a quad-core processor inside and optional dual-SIM support. In addition it packs a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A7 processor, along with PowerVR SGX544MP graphics and 1GB of RAM.

The mid-range "gem" will be available in two colors: black & white. It offers almost 4GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot on the side, an 8MP rear camera with 1080p@30fps video recording plus a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats. There's also full HSPA+ support, WLAN/Bluetooth connectivity features and an FM Radio.

According to Acer's official announcement, the Liquid E2 will be released by mid-May in the European markets with a retail price of just €229! Nice bargain don't you think?
