Google Chrome celebrates 750 million active users!

One of the most significant announcements in this year's Google I/O was - obviously- the 750 million active users milestone of the Chrome browser, an application that has found its way to the top of the world's best browsers the past few years.

The number of the active users has seen a significant increase of almost 300 million users in just a year, thus insuring its future in both PC and mobile world. Google Chrome was released in beta version back in 2008 and needed only 5 years to be the world's most popular web browser... demolishing Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

Google's next goal is of course to reach the... one billion users milestone which may be celebrated a lot sooner than next year's Google I/O. What do you think?
