Is this the first official photo of Sony Xperia Z Ultra?

It looks like that an invitation from Sony for a special event in France on the 4th of July presumably unveils part of the company's next top end smartphone Xperia Z Ultra (codenamed Xperia ZU), a large display (6.44 inch) smartphone that the Japanese rely alot on.

According to the invitation, "Sony Mobile has a BIG surprise for us" with the word big probably hinting on the huge 6.44 inch smartphone we're about to see. One more thing you should pay attention to is of course the fact that part of the invitation has been written with a stylus, meaning that the purported device will feature one.

The same rumors insist that the device is quite thin, packing a 1080p Triluminos display with X-Reality support, a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor @ 2.2GHz, Adreno 330 GPU with 2GB of  RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD slot and two cameras (8.0 and 2.0 MPixels). The new Xperia Z Ultra will run on Android 4.2.2 and its dimensions will be 179,2x92x6,5 mm and its weight 212 gr.
