James Gandolfini passed away at the age of 51

How ironic. Only a few weeks after having announced The Sopranos as the best TV series in history of television by the Writers Guild of America, its greatest star - and the person who was well known for his role as Tony Soprano (the mafia boss you suffers from panic attacks- James Gandolfini passed away at the age of 51.


According to first reports, Gandolfini died from heart attack, while on vacation in Rome Italy. He was born in New Jersey, won 3 Emmy and 1 Golden Globe awards during his 9 years in the Sopranos. HBO made a statement about how big actor but also man Gandolfini was. His last movie work was in Zero Dark Thirty and among the projects he had was the HBO limited series Criminal Justice and Taxi 22 (CBS).
