Android and Windows in one! Meet the new Samsung Slide ATIV Q

Well here's how Samsung confirms that it has unveiled a device for the masses! At the Premiere Event in London the Korean company announced a shapshifting slide tablet named ATIV Q, that combines worlds two most popular operating systems: Android 4.2.2 and Windows 8, into a laptop and tablet at the same time!


The impressive slide ultrabook tablet has a 13.3 inch touch screen (3200×1800 pixels) it's only 1.4 cm thin and it weighs a mere kilo. On the inside we will find an Intel Core i5 Haswell processor, along with 4GHB of RAM, 128GB SSD and the ability to run for almost 9 times of continuous use.


The most important feature of the device however is it's dual boot ability. You will be able to choose on which operating system you will boot with the push of a button. You can choose Windows 8 for its keyboard usability or Android if you want to be more versatile and mobile. The smart software Side Sync can be used here as well, enabling you transferring data between Android, Windows 8 and you Galaxy smartphone! By the way, the ATIV Q supports also the use of S Pen in both operating systems!

It will be released globally but there's still no info on price and exact date.
