Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A can reach up to 100Mbps downlink speeds!

Here's a question for you. What's the average internet speeds you reach through your home router? According to an Akamai research the average Greek household has an internet speed of almost 3.9Mbps. And in mobile networks, the newly founded 4G networks from Cosmote and Vodafone promise speeds up to 43Mbps. Imaging now living in Korea and testing the new LTE-A networks using a Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A device and seeing speeds up to 100Mbps downlink!

SK Telekom, the company that designed the LTE-A networks in the country presented their networks infrastructure offering speeds up to 150Mbps (downlink) and 37.5 Mbps uplink! Its customers pay no extra fees fro the use of these networks but they have to obtain LTE-A capable devices such as Samsung Galaxy S4, which is the first device of its kind. Obviously only Korea and Russia support at this time the LTE-Advanced technology, at the time where in Europe, networks strive to offer acceptable 4G speeds.

I;m thinking of visiting Korea for some time. Who's with me?
