R.I.P.D: Dead policemen against ghosts

After being killed in action, detective Nick Walker (Ryan Reynolds) is called to be enlisted to a post mortem Police Department that hunts ghosts under the name R.I.P.D (Rest In Peace Department) and works together with veteran officer Roy Pulsipher (Jeff Bridges). Their mission is to locate and place under arrest monstrous spirits that have disguised into humans and try to evade Justice.

This Universal Pictures film is based on the comic “Dark Horse” by Peter Lenkov and it's being directed by Robert Schwentke (RED) and comes with a heavy cast: Kevin Bacon (X-Men: First Class), Mary-Louise Parker (RED), Stephanie Szostak (Iron Man 3) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break). From the looks of the trailer the movie is similar to The Men in Black, but come on we're talking about two policemen that hunt ghosts and demons, what can go wrong? The film will hit European cinemas on the 18th of July.
