Following on the footsteps of Facebook and Amazon, Samsung plans to build its new Silicon Valley campus soon. The whole project has been designed by the famous architecture office NBBJ and so far the first image renderings are just awesome.

Samsung already owns an office in the area with 350 employees. Yet the Korean giant plans to employee almost 2000 workers in the new building, in research & development, and sales. According to the renderings this new campus will be 10 floors high, with modern design, built out of glass and metal. It will also have rooms for a gym, coffee shops, restaurants and gardens, with all areas being under strict eco friendly standards. According to Silicon Valley Business the Municipal Council of the city approved the plans of the new campus and offered to Samsung 7$ million in tax deductions! In return Samsung will offer to San Jose 23& dollars in new sources of income for the city. According to the calculations by the Koreans the new campus should be complete by mid 2015.
