Sony SmartWatch 2 Hands-On

One of the most impressive gadgets of this year's IFA 2013 was without a doubt Sony's Smartwatch 2. It's an impressive smartwatch running on Android OS and can be used as a second display to your smartphone, offering a new, revamped UI, a larger display than its predecessor (1.6 inches with 220x176 pixels), full aluminum body and water resistance thanks to the IP57 support.


It offers a wristband made out of stainless steel and it can be taken out so that you can use your favorite 24mm bracelet. SmartWatch 2.0 has NFC and Bluetooth 3.0 support and can be used in sy76nc with Android 4.0 and above smartphones.


It also packs a Li-Ion battery that - according to Sony can offer 4 days with frequent use or up to one week if you behave. Have a look at the hands on video (in Greek) that follows.
