Asus unveiled its new Padfone Infinity!

ASUS unveiled today the new version of its Padfone flagship, called Padfone Infinity this time. The smartphone retains the looks and aesthetics of its predecessor along with its excellent IPS LCD (5 inch - 1080p), but this time packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC @ 2.2GHz and the Adreno 330 GPU.

Its SoC is being assisted by 2GB of RAM LPDDR3. The device uses once again a 13MPixels camera that can create impressive 3MPixel photos from one 13MPixel shot! It's a technique similar to the one used by Nokia's Pureview technology, however ASUS calls it PixelMaster technology. The device can also shoot burst mode photos at 35fps (3.0MPixel photos). Padfone Infinity packs for the first time a microSD slot but also offers 16 or 32GB of internal storage. It also has a front facing 2.0MPixel camera, LTE support, a 2400 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2.2.

ASUS plans to sell the device at a price of 640$ and those who want can also buy for 240$ the Padfone Station, that allows the device to transform into a 1920x1080p tablet, available in two colors: Titanium Black and Platinum White!
