Apple's A7 SoC 64 bit support is just a gimmick

Truth is that one of the most important features of Apple's new iPhone 5S is without doubt the A7 64 bit processor and its features.

However this doesn't seem enough to impress Qualcomm's Vice President, Anand Chandrasekher, who states that this whole thing is just a gimmick from Apple that offers nothing to the end user - for the time being. Mr. Chandrasekher also mentions that all 64 bit SoCs allow the use of more than 4GB of RAM, something that cannot be implemented on iPhone 5S that has only 1GB of RAM. In addition he replied to the question "if Qualcomm is preparing its own 67 bit processors saying yes, without letting us know anything else on the matter.
