Nexus 5 is finally here!

Well you know it, it's no secret! Google announced yesterday Nexus 5, its worst kept secret since we knew all about it almost 3-4 weeks before its official unveiling. But now its official, designed and manufactured with the help of LG!

This new Nexus 5 is the first device to run on Android 4.4 and all of its goodies. It packs a 4.95 inch display (1920x1080 pixels) with 445 ppi pixel density, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, quad core Snapdragon 800 SoC @ 2.26GHz, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, an 8.0 MPixel camera with BSI, another secondary camera (1.3MPixels) and 16 or 32GB of storage. It also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/a, NFC, LTE and Bluetooth 4.0 support along with a 2300 mAh battery.

The device also packs a camera with a distinct feature: HDR+ mode, that enables you to take lots of images at the same time and then combine them to have the best! Nexus 5 weighs 130 gr. and its dimensions are 69,17 x 137,84 x 8,59 mm. It's made entirely out of plastic but it feels great when you hold it, at least according to all those who had it in their hands for the first reviews. It has keys made out of artificial ceramic material and its bezel is so narrow, offering top portability.

Among the greatest new features of Android 4.4 KitKat we have to emphasize on the new, transparent launcher on the lowest part of the display, new improved icons for Gmail and Camera, Hangouts icon for complete text and IM communication, along with an improved speech control feature! It also offers an improved dialer, that you shouldn't miss! The device will cost 295 pounds (almost 350 Euros) in the UK for the 16GB edition!
