Gmail now allows you to save attachments directly to Google Drive

A new update for Gmail now allows you to save attachments directly to Google Drive, according to an announcement made via Google's official blog along with an animated gif.

Attachments

The only thing you have to do is mouse over the attachments, the Google Drive icon appears and you only have to select where to send your file. This new feature will be globally available starting from next week. With this new update all attachments are now available as screenshots (previews) on the lower part of every message. You click on them and watch them in full screen. The use of previews in attachments was available to all iOS and Android users and now all desktop users can enjoy it as well.
