Jolla Phone with Sailfish OS available on the 27th of November

Well this is good news guys! It looks that Jolla phone the first device to run on Sailfish OS will be available in Finland on the 27th of November, in cooperation with local provider DNA. The first batch of the device will be 450 pieces that will be available from a local store in Narinkkatori in Helsinki to all those who had pre ordered.

Jolla is in fact a Finnish startup company founded by former Meego developers from Nokia and its Sailfish OS is based on the gestures we first saw in Meego OS. In case you don't remember the Jolla Phone will pack a 4.5 inch display, dual core SOC, 16GB of storage along with a microSD slot, an 8MPixels camera and a removable 2100 mAh battery. Thanks to its interchangeable covers users can adjust its appearance according to their liking and it will cost around 399 Euros. We still don't know if Jolla will release the device outside Finland but the price looks quite good when compared to other opponents like Motorola's Moto G for example!
