Microsoft to pay Samsung 1$ billion for a Windows Phone cooperation

Truth is that almost 90% of Microsoft's Windows Phone ecosystem is being comprised of Nokia's smartphones with all the other manufactures having left the Redmond based company, for Android OS. Well if what Eldar Murtazin claims to be true happens, this is going to change soon.

According to his tweets, Microsoft is in negotiations with Samsung, to pay them 1$ billion in order to promote once again Windows Phone based smartphones! In case you don't remember, Microsoft has made a similar deal with Nokia, with the Finnish company receiving 250$ million every 3 months for the Lumia Windows Phones that have been already announced. We still have no info regarding Microsoft's agreement with Samsung, however this info looks really interesting for the future of Windows Phone OS.
