Neptune Pine: a fully fledged smart watch capable of replacing your smartphone

No it's not the standard smart phone one would expect to have wearing in his hands. After all you can understand that it's a bit strange, when you look at its 2.;4 inch display! Neptune Pine however is a device that does make a difference, since it can play the role of a smartphone aiming to... replace it!


The device was succesful in its Kickstarter campaign so that's why it was unveiled in CES 2014. It packs a 2.4 inch display (320x240 pixels), uses a Snapdragon S4 SoC @ 1.2 GHz, 512MB of RAM, 8/16/32 GB of storage and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also packs two cameras (5 MPixels and a VGA), and can make phone calls through handsfree. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC and offers a Micro SIM slot. It uses an 810 mAh battery (rechargeable) through USB cable and can offer almost 12 hours of continuous use.
