IBM's tiny chip that could offer up to 400Gbps Internet speeds!

IBM researchers in Switzerland managed to develop a new technology that could allow for the use of up to 400 Gbps of Internet browsing speeds!

This can happen with the use of a really high tech (and expensive) analog to digital converter that - according to IBM- enables data centers to exchange data with super high speeds! This ADC chip was showcased in the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) in San Francisco, and is still in prototype stage. If this finally makes it to the market, we will be able to download a two hour long movie (at 4K pixels quality) in just a few seconds.
