New offices for Facebook in New York

There is much movement from Facebook for some time now and between acquisitions, press conferences in Barcelona and other changes, they introduce their new offices in New York.

In Astor Place in Greenwich Village and particularly at 770 Broadway, the facilities of Facebook are transferred to the "Big Apple", in new offices designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, who created, among other things the famous Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The new "home" of Facebook is located in a historic building which was the legendary store of John Wanamaker, a building which hosts many companies from the area of advertising and media, as well as, in addition to the offices of the social network of Mark Zuckerberg, the headquarters of AOL, Adweek, Backstage and Billboard.

The facilities have space for 800 offices and the area includes many coffee bars, snacks bars, as well as many conference rooms. This spring, the headquarters will be completed and will feature a library, a cafe place, an area for large meetings and many more. The team of New York of Facebook is consisted of 320 people who will be transferred to the new offices by March. Watch some photos from the facilities which are still under construction.
