Boeing Black Phone. The smartphone that can self destruct.

Here's a "mysterious" smartphone from Boeing, which this time is leaving the private and fighter aircrafts and deals with something different. The Boeing Black Phone, with emphasis on safety, promises to protect your data in a special way. So, in addition to the encryption of your communications, it has a feature that erases your data, in case someone tries to open or break the device. This is a smartphone that is addressed mainly to officials of state agencies and contractors who have to maintain their communications and data safe, in any case.

As we can see in its specs, the Boeing Black Phone has a 4.3 inch display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution, dual CPUs ARM cortex-A9 to 1.2GHz and Android software. It weighs 170 grams and supports dual SIM, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR and LTE, while has a 1590 mAh battery. Boing, for safety reasons, does not reveal more details about the device, but the hardware of the Black Phone is already assembled in USA and is scalable from the back panel in order to work with biometric scanners, satellite transceivers, solar chargers and other accessories.

The Boeing Black Phone has been designed as a sealed proposal which prevents any attempt of dismantling. If you try to open (or break) the device, this leads to the deletion of data and the software makes the device non-functional. Boeing didn't tell us the price or release date of the device, but it is not so far away.
