The first Snapdragon 805 smartphone

Qualcomm's new chipset (Snapdragon 805) was announced just a few weeks ago, boasting 4 Krait 450 cores and Adreno 420 GPU, without any official presence in a device so far. Now here comes the time when the first smartphone is being announced and its name? Pantech Vega Iron 2, intended for the Korean market of course.

It's a 5.5 inch display smartphone (1080p), with 2GB of RAM, two cameras @ 13 and 3 MPixels, 16 or 32GB of storage, USB 3.0 support, LTE-A and a 2800 Li-Ion battery. It will be available in 4 versions (3 of them for the largest telecom providers in S. Korea) and one more for international networks. Let's see when it is expected to hit european stores.
