The building of the world's tallest skyscraper begins on the 27th of April

It was back in 2011 when the Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal announced the decision to build the world's largest building. It will be called Kingdom Tower and its top will be 1000 and 1 meters high. Since then only the foundations of the tower had been built but according to British Building Design magazine, they are ready to begin on the 27th of April.

Until now there were some funding problems since Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is in charge of a large multinational fund but one thing is for sure. The work will begin and it will take 63 months and approximately 1.3 $ billion to complete this whole endeavor. When complete, the Kingdom Tower will be the world's tallest building since it will be 173 meters taller than Burj Khalifa and 163 meters taller than China's Sky City.
