Sony. We won't be supporting

It seems that Sony will not follow Google in the path of Android Wear OS, since the Japanese company has invested a lot of money and time in the development of its own Smart Watch platform. Sony Mobile US Ravi Nookala during an interview he gave to CNET mentioned that the use of Android Wear for the upcoming wearable devices of the company isn't a part of the company's immediate plans.

For the time being, LG with G Watch and Motorola with its Moto 360 smartwatch have been using Google's Android Wear platform, with Samsung having left the platform to rely on its Tizen OS for its wearables. Only Apple remains to be seen what will do with its own iWatch and the only thing we can do is just wait and see.
