Testing the HP Envy X2

At the Show Stoppers event, during IFA 2012, we had the opportunity to take a look at and examine up close the new Envy X2 by HP, a hybrid tablet-notebook, one of those in fashion lately. Essentially, it’s a laptop with an 11.6-inch screen (in the video we talk about 11 inches - forgive us but we were too excited), which is actually detachable from the rest of the chassis and works as a stand-alone Windows 8 tablet. The device weighs a total 1.400 grams (700 for the tablet part and the same for the rest of it), while integrating an IPS panel at 1366x768 pixels. It supports NFC and features USB and HDMI ports, as well as an SD card slot.
