We want the Nexus 7 in Greece. And we’ll have it on November 12th.

Here’s a really nice surprise. The Nexus 7, Google’s 7-inch tablet is coming to Greek stores, and specifically at Cyta, Kotsovolos, Media Markt, Multirama, Public, Wind and all other stores that are part of the official distributor’s network, that is West Net.

As we read on Weekly Telecom, West Net is the one to distribute the device that has made record-braking sales in the USA and Europe. In the press release, we noticed that the suggested price in Greece is 270 euros while it is available in Germany for 200 euros. But this is something we are used to, and is justified by the fact that it’s not distributed through Google Play in Greece, but rather by a middleman and stores.

So, brace yourselves. The 7-inch Nexus 7 features:

7-inch HD screen (1280x800 pixels)
Quad-core Tegra 3 CPU
Twelve-core GPU
1,2 MP font-facing camera
Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope
16GB storage, 1GB RAM
4.325 mAh battery (9 hours of video playback, 300 hours of standby)
198,5 x 120 x 10,45 mm / 340 gr

Coming soon to Greece.
